Our headquarters are located in a lively area of London, yet our campus remains a peaceful haven for study. We neighbour museums, galleries, bars, shops and restaurants, and the area is also much liked for its green squares. The most famous has to be the popular Russell Square, which holds a number of events every summer including the Bloomsbury Festival.

• The British Museum

The British Museum has a permanent collection of nearly eight million world items, art and artefacts, and is among the largest and most comprehensive in existence: illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginnings to the present. The Museum is free to all visitors.

• The British Library

The British Library is one of the two largest libraries in the world, and is the national library of the United Kingdom. It is a major research library holding over 150 million items from various countries and in varied languages, in both print and digital formats. The Library collection includes around 14 million books, along with substantial holdings of manuscripts and historical items dating back as far as 2000 BC.

• Regent's Park

Regent's Park is one of the Royal Parks in London and covers an area of 395 acres with excellent sports facilities spanning nearly 100 acres, including the largest outdoor sports area in central London. The Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park is the only professional, outdoor theatre in Britain; offering a range of events and performances from May through to September. Queen Mary’s Garden is a world-famous garden named after the wife of King George V. The rose garden is London's largest collection of roses with approximately 12,000.

London Zoo has over 760 animal species and is situated in Regent's park. It is also the world's oldest scientific zoo.

• Oxford Street

This is Europe's busiest shopping street, and has approximately 300 shops.
