This course aims to address the demand for graduates who can function in an international business environment, and will prepare them for jobs and careers with organisations that do business across national borders.
In addition to covering the essential business functions within an international context, the curriculum will address the business case for diversity, the influences of culture on international management as well as the inter-cultural dynamics of work relationships.
Entry Requirements
A foundation degree, higher national diploma or equivalent qualification from home country in a business related subject.
And
An English Language level equivalent to IELTS 5.5 overall and a minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking).
Course Assessment
Tutors use a range of assessments including portfolios of work, case studies, reports, essays, open-and closed-book examinations and presentations to assess the performance of students. These assessments ensure that a student experiences a wide range of assessment methods. This also helps to ensure that students develop information gathering skills, knowledge and understanding, application, analysis and evaluation of knowledge, presentation and writing skill, as well as ensuring the validity of the assessment process. This variety of assessment methods allows the programme and module learning outcomes to be assessed in a systematic and appropriate way.
