The Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management is a general management programme, which prepares participants for a range of executive and management careers. It is equally valuable for the person who aspires to such a role. The programme will enhance participants' knowledge and understanding to develop their management skills and potential at a strategic level. It is particularly designed to develop a range of conceptual and analytical skills for dealing with a variety of practical business situations or problems of an operational and strategic nature. Students will gain the knowledge and understanding necessary to become capable and competent managers in a range of organisations operating within an increasingly international setting. Diploma students can transfer to the MBA or MSc programme in the following year provided that work is of the required standard
Candidates applying for admission onto the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management will normally be expected to have successfully completed an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in any subject discipline;
Evidence of satisfactory English language skills is required for candidates where English is not their first language, such as IELTS 5.5 or above (which should include a minimum score of 5.5 for the writing and listening modules)
An overall assessment of an applicants' educational background, experience and potential to benefit from the programme will be made when considering the suitability of a candidate for our Postgraduate Business programmes. The College aims to achieve a mix of student backgrounds which will enhance the learning experience for all. Whilst it is not necessary for applicants to have a minimum of two years career history, appropriate experience will be beneficial in support of their application.
The assessment for each of the modules has been carefully considered in order to meet the learning outcomes of the module itself and to contribute to the programme learning outcomes. A wide variety of assessment methods have been utilized to stimulate appropriate learning, self-reflective and analytical skills; these include Folder of Evidence development, essays and critical literature review.

Upon completing the Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management, students will have the knowledge, skills and confidence to pursue careers in wide ranging fields of higher level management across all business sectors.
Upon successful completion of this course, student will obtain a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management Certificate. Students may then be eligible to enter onto a Top-up Masters level qualification. Please speak with our Admissions Department for further information.
Students of this course may be eligible for a scholarship for £500.
