Erwin Capito (Philippines) (Health and Social Care student)

My name is Erwin and I am from Borongan E. Samar, Philippines. I am currently studying a Higher National Diploma in Health and Social Care. (HSC) I have been in London for two years and I really like this beautiful and bustling city. At the weekend, I love to explore all the museums and Tate Modern is so far my favourite museum.

Tell us about your life at CCL?
As you know, to study in a foreign country using a new language is not easy. But my experience at CCL has been very pleasant. The HSC course is very practical and I have the chance to learn what is actually happening in the industry. One thing I want to mention particularly is the teachers. They are very friendly, patient and never get tired with my questions. I have learned a lot from my studies and I feel more confident now.

What is your future plan?
I think I am an influential person and am very good with people. So with the skills I am developing with CCL, I want to become a manager in the health care area. I know I have to work and study very hard for it. But hey, I am young and full of energy, I am sure my dream will come true one day.

Any travel plans in the future?
I love travel and London offers such a convenient location to travel around in Europe. I am planning a walking trip to Switzerland during the Summer school break. I am so excited about it.
